LA CALEBASSE

After the market’s return episode with a calabash on my hip, fulfilled with fruits and vegetables, everybody smiling and sensitive to it, I tried to improve it. I closed the calabash, so things do not fall, and people do not see what I bring in. It can be used also to store fruits or bread on the kitchen counter. It is said in Senegal that the calabash is good for transport and store fruits and vegetables. It also can be appropriate to serve milk or water, as they do traditionally in the fields. The fabric was bought in the market and is traditionally used to wrap the children to the back of their mothers, as this they only sold it in a 10m range. I attached a photo of the lady who sold me the calabash and who sew the fabric to the calabash. The same way she did sew the broken calabash before. In the end, me and Madame shook hands as partners.
